Matt and his team did a fantastic job ripping out old carpet and replacing it with luxury vinyl planks. He was professional and respectful in all our interactions, and gave me a competitive and reasonable estimate for the job. He also referred me to the Tile Guy, a great shop to buy vinyl planks. While the job ended up taking slightly longer than anticipated as my stairs were tricky, Matt didn't compromise on the quality of his work and kept to the quoted costs. He does get really busy, and at times, he could have responded quickly, and provided periodic updates on the work. The team also cleaned up after themselves well.
Overall, I highly recommend Matt for any flooring needs and wouldn't hesitate to work with him again in the future!

I am thrilled with the work I had done from Austin Hardwood Floors and wanted to share. I contacted them to have some work done. Matt was great, helpful, prompt and when I had to keep pushing things back he didn't mind. I closed on a Friday and they were there the next morning to start the work. They did 1200sqft worth of house ripping up carpet and installing beautiful wood floors in 5 days. And I have to say my house looks AMAZING! Choosing to have wood put in was well worth it. Matt and his team was very easy to work with. They helped offload 8000 lb solid wood from delivery truck to the house. They are very responsive throughout the installation process and answer any questions or concerns we have. I replaced all the carpet area of my two story house with solid stranded bamboo floor. Solid stranded bamboo is very hard and initially we don't know what's the best installation method. Matt convinced us of using glue down for both floors and I think we made a good choice. Before installation, we did pull out the planks from package boxes and stacked them on the floors to be installed and acclimated the wood planks for 2 weeks. So that the moisture content of the wood would match surrounding environment. This is absolutely needed for solid stranded bamboo. At the end of installation, Matt and his team carefully examined all the installed floor planks and removed all the wastes afterwards. The labor cost is competitive and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. The floor looks gorgeous and both me and my wife love it very much!
